Matt Emery is the Senior Policy Representative for Financial Services at the National Association of REALTORS®. He covers a broad range of financial services issues—including conventional financing, mortgage lending, student debt, and credit modeling—and has a deep knowledge of housing finance and mortgage regulatory policies. Matt also covers many emerging technology issues, including artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies.

Previously, Matt spent nearly ten years at Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) and served as the Vice President of Public Policy, leading the technology and innovation policy portfolio after helping lead Quicken’s efforts during the creation and implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act. Matt is a native Montanan and received his bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Michigan. He currently lives in Washington, D.C.
