Biography
Lauren serves as Vice President & Head of the Public Policy and Industry Relations team at Fannie Mae, which is responsible for tracking and analyzing legislative activity and managing engagements with key external housing stakeholders. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Lauren served as a policy advisor to members of the Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee. During her tenure on Capitol Hill, she played an integral role in helping pass key provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act in response to the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. She is a proud alumna of Butler University in Indianapolis where she studied Journalism and Spanish. She also earned an MBA from London Business School in the United Kingdom where she helped launch a fintech industry organization.
