Biography
Katrina Jones is Vice President and Head of Community and Partner
Engagement at Fannie Mae, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Public
Affairs. She leads enterprise-wide strategies and strategic community partnerships that support lenders and advance Fannie Mae’s mission to expand access to affordable and sustainable housing.
Ms. Jones previously held several senior roles in Fannie Mae’s Single-Family
division, where she oversaw go-to-market strategy, business enablement, and
spearheaded lender engagements for major front-end technology initiatives
designed to improve lender workflow, enhance data quality, and streamline the
origination experience. She has led loan quality initiatives, managed relationships with more than 90 lender partners, and directed pricing, execution, and affordable product development efforts—all with a focus on strengthening lender operational performance and improving the borrower experience.
Earlier in her career at Fannie Mae, Ms. Jones contributed to its international
housing finance initiatives in Thailand and Turkey, helping to design
secondary-market structures that expanded access to mortgage credit.
Before joining Fannie Mae, she held leadership roles at Wells Fargo, overseeing regional loan origination, operations, and pricing strategies.
Ms. Jones holds a B.S. in Business Management, an MBA from The George
Washington University, and executive leadership certificates from Harvard
Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
