Jared serves as NACo's associate legislative director for community, economic and workforce development. In this role, he advocates for county interests on matters pertaining to housing, community and economic development, public works and workforce issues.

Prior to NACo, Jared built a foundation working with local leaders at the Florida Association of Counties (FAC). While working with FAC, his podcast, FAC Check, was recognized with a Legislative Excellence award by the Small County Coalition.

Jared graduated from the University of Florida, and continues to pursue a Masters in Public Administration from Wake Forest University.
