Rod Messick is the Chief Executive Officer for Homesale Realty Services Group, Inc. Prior to his selection as CEO in May of 2019, Rod worked as Homesale’s CFO and COO. Homesale Realty operates as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty, which is the largest seller of real estate in Central Pennsylvania and has expanded to serve Maryland, Virginia, DC, Delaware and West Virginia. The Company has a total of 36 offices in 16 counties and over 1200 agents. Our growth and leadership position in our industry is a result of our core values and company culture.

His civilian career began as a mortgage loan officer. Before joining the housing industry, Rod served with honor in the United States Navy as a P-3 Orion Naval Flight Officer. Rod has served on two publicly traded community bank boards, numerous nonprofit boards and several industry advisory boards. He holds a BS from the Naval Academy and MS from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and School of Engineering and Applied Science. Rod resides in Lancaster, PA with his wife and two daughters. He spends free time golfing, flyfishing, skiing, and sailing.
