Renée Roqué
Real Estate ConsultantBiography
After many years in the entertainment industry working for celebrities like “Mr. Box Office,” Eddie Murphy, Tony Orlando, Debby Boone, Ambassador of Princess Cruises, Gavin McCloud, Mega-Manager, Susan Munao who was instrumental in forming the career of Donna Summers, Renée and her husband, Daryl, moved into the Santa Clarita Valley. For seven years they served as Resident Managers at an award- winning affordable housing community in Hollywood, the Montecito. It was there that they got their feet wet in real estate and learned about contracts, real estate law, facilities and customer service. When the time came to shift careers to one that allowed her the opportunity to continue to do the things she loves (like daily serving at West Creek where her children attended school and being able to pick up her children from school), real estate was a perfect fit! Not the career she envisioned but surely fun and rewarding!
In the past seven years, she has sold homes from $195,000.00 to $2.5 million with production totaling over 138 homes. Her clients range from friends she has known for 10 years to on-line leads she has never met who quickly became her friends and purchase homes all over Southern California.
Real Estate is quite a ride and there are a million things that happen “behind the scenes” in helping to assist people find their dream homes or sell and transition to a new home. One thing she loves about this business is that it certainly is not the same each day. There are days driving around showing homes to your clients, days in the office behind paperwork, days training and learning about the new rules and regulations and days you are out door knocking neighborhoods to find the perfect home for your clients. Each day holds something new and exciting and Renée welcomes each day with promise.
Renée believes giving back to the communities she serves is life-giving. Currently she serves as the Affordable Housing Chair for the City of Santa Clarita which blossomed from her service at His Way Church when she was the Homeless Coordinator for a decade, who hosted Family Promise. At church she also served as a Youth Leader and Church Administrator. Her love for children inspired her to serve as Afternoon Commander of Awana’s for eight years. Believing in the importance of being involved with her children’s schools, she served on the Parents Teacher Association for a decade, receiving the Honorary Service Reward from California for producing the school’s Talent Shows and Women In History for a decade. One of the most rewarding blessings was to greet the families daily while serving in the morning valet.
At her local Realtor’s Association, Southland Regional, she serves on Government Affairs. In California Association of Realtors she was appointed by Women’s Council of RELATORS® Past National President, Heather Ozur to serve on the Communications Advisory Committee, she also serves on Homeownership Housing and Taxation and Government Finance. Women’s Council of REALTORS for the past seven years has been her passion and Renée currently has the privilege of mentoring three Networks as a District Vice President for the State of California. A recent graduate of Women’s Council of REALTORS® National Leadership Academy, 2022, and feels it is a great honor to be a faculty member at Leadership 360, recipient of the Bobbie Nelson Pathway to Leadership Grant and Humanitarian Award. Recently Renée was selected to participate in Southland California’s Association of Government Leadership Academy.
