Staff Attorney Mike Rohde joined the NAR Legal Affairs Team in January 2022. Mike serves as a co-staff executive of NAR’s Legal Action Committee, the committee responsible for providing financial assistance to support litigation of significance to NAR and the real estate industry. Mike’s focus also includes advising NAR and its affiliates on contractual matters and developing written resources regarding trends in real estate law.

Prior to joining NAR, Mike was the Director of Administration for a multi-state non-profit education management organization devoted to serving families in underserved communities. In addition, he has experience defending multi-million-dollar litigation. Mike received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. A sports enthusiast, Mike played six seasons of professional baseball before attending law school. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and three young children.
