Heather is the 2024 NAR Commercial Economic Forum Chair, has spoken at the national conference, and has been on numerous commercial NAR committees.  She is serving as a member of the Appraisal Institute National Board of Directors through the end of 2024, as well as chaired the Viginia Association of Realtors Economic Research Board and is a governor appointed member of the Virginia Real Estate Appraisal Board.

Heather Placer Mull currently services CCIM on the national level as chair of the Networking Subcommittee and is also a CCIM Foundations Board Member.  Her past positions include Region 10 RVP, MidAtlantic Chapter President, and national committee member of CCIM Regional Activities, Chapter Activities, Membership Services and Marketing Committees.

Heather Mull is a MAI/SRA designated appraiser and the owner of Placer Realty Advisors, a full service commercial appraisal and consulting firm. She is also a commercial associate broker with SRMF in Richmond, Virginia and adjunct professor of Real Estate at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Heather holds two master’s degrees (one in real estate).  In her spare time, she volunteers with several animal rescue groups and has extensive nonprofit experience, having founded a local 501C3 chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
