Eric M. Goldberg serves as Department Vice President and Counsel, Commercial Lines, for the American Property Casualty Insurance Association. He has more than 30 years of industry experience as a regulatory attorney, government affairs professional, and lobbyist. In his current role, he leads a team of professionals who manage all public policy issues and activities related to commercial lines of insurance. He previously worked in the Law Department of a Fortune 250 commercial insurer and served as a professional staff member for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee.

Eric is a graduate of The George Washington University and the Washington University School of Law. He is an active member of the Bars of the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.
